On-Call Stock Clerk I
Job Description
Contract Length: Contracts are written for 3-month durations. They are renewable for additional 3-month durations providing work is available and Employee's work performance is acceptable.
Hours: Hours are not guaranteed. When work is available, it is ABC's preference that Employee work a minimum of four hours during a workday, and a minimum of eight hours per workweek. When work is available, Employee may schedule when they wish to work as long as the store is open, and any required supervision is available.
Employee Job Duties:
- Tying off misc. bead strands/hanks, and then pricing them.
- Tubing misc. beads and then pricing them.
- Bagging misc. beads and findings, and then pricing them.
- Checking all inventory being processed, for pricing, description, and quantity errors and reporting such errors immediately to appropriate Stockroom Personnel.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks alone in the stockroom (If you prefer being around and working with people on a regular basis, this job is not for you).
- Must be detail oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy!
- Must display a positive attitude—negativity in action and words is unacceptable.
- Experience using a computer and ability to learn new tasks on a computer quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required unless currently attending high school.
- Must have the ability to tie knots proficiently using thread (i.e. as one would need to do with seed beads and bead strands).
- Must have good math skills.
Wage & Benefits:
- Wage: $7.15 per hour
