Retail Stock Clerk I
Job Description
Hours: Part Time, Permanent, approx. 20 - 30 hours per week.
Employee Job Duties:
- Check, verify, and receive incoming shipments using the computer.
- Direct and train On-Call employees as needed.
- Prepare work for On-Calls and process On-Call’s finished work.
- Tie seed beads and strands; bag beads and findings; and place price labels on merchandise.
- Restock store inventory using the computer.
- Perform data entry on the computer as needed.
- If the sales clerks are too busy, assist customers on the floor as needed.
- Vacuum, dust, and clean store areas and fixtures as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work independently in the stockroom (If you prefer being around and working with customers on a regular basis, this job is not for you).
- Ability to handle work direction shifts on a frequent basis (If you are a person who likes to start and finish a single task without interruptions, before moving on to the next task, this job is not for you).
- Must be detail oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy!
- Experience using a computer and ability to learn new tasks on a computer quickly.
- Must have the ability to tie knots proficiently using thread (i.e. as one would need to do with seed beads and bead strands).
- Must display a positive attitude.
- Must have good math skills.

Retail Sales Clerk I
Job Description
Hours: Part Time, Permanent, 20 - 30 hours per week. Must be able to work some weekends when required.
Employee Job Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with purchases and questions.
- Process customer purchases using the computer and Point of Sale software.
- Demonstrate basic jewelry making techniques to customers as required.
- Straighten, display, and restock store inventory using judgment to determine stocking priorities.
- Vacuum, dust, or clean store areas and fixtures as needed.
- Perform set-up duties for bead classes as required.
- May be required to perform data entry on the computer.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Note: This job requires Employee to be on his/her feet the entire length of his/her shift except for when he/she is on break.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Retail store experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience working with the public preferred.
- Basic knowledge and skill in making beaded jewelry preferred.
- Must possess a high level of interest in beading.
- Must have good math skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with the public.
