Wearable Bead Sculpture

Use freeform peyote and brick stitch to create sculptural pieces that can be incorporated into a cuff or used as a brooch or a focal piece in a necklace. Pair the dimension of the beads themselves with traditional sewing techniques to create rolling ridges, tucks and pockets. Learn to create bezels without a fiber base and then use them as building blocks. Also learn to fit your bead sculpture to your wrist. This is a techniques class with homework prior to class.
