Bead Embroidered Small Quilt

This class is for the beader who is also a quilter. In this class you will learn a variety of techniques for bead embroidery on a small quilt, approximately 9" by 12". The sample quilt is representative of what you can do, and contains most of the stitches you will learn.

You may also choose to make a sampler of stitches before actually beginning on your quilt. Additionally, if you took a garment class from me, you may use that garment for your beading canvas.

The first session will be short (1-2 hours), an information session to show how to prepare the quilt for embroidery. The second session (3 hours) will cover the various bead embroidery stitches. Note: The quilt will be started, but will not be completed in class.

• October 2, Thursday, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Part 2)
