Designing With Seed Beads

Are you ready to move from jewelry making to art making? This class explores starting with an idea and translating it into beaded art. The first half of the class will be spent learning the basics of visual design through a variety of design exercises. In the second half you will explore ways of translating your ideas into beadwork that steps beyond adornment. The ability to draw is not necessary. Since no stitches will be taught, this class is recommended for beaders who have a good working knowledge of any off-loom stitch, embroidery, or loom weaving.
