Sally Suddock first discovered beads as a six-year-old, watching her Dad sew tiny seed beads into detailed Indian patterns. In 1999, after a 25-year career in writing and graphic design, Sally came upon "beaded zipper pulls". She figured, "beading was in my genes all along!" Since then, Sally has concentrated her passion towards freeform beadweaving and feels she has a keen sense of color and design. Additionally, she points out, "I have never met a texture I didn't like!" Sally has been teaching at Alaska Bead Company since the Summer of 2006.
