Raised by an artist in a military family, I was encouraged to try new things. I sold my first oil in a gallery in San Diego at 9 years old. I didn't find my favorite medium—beads and wire—until the late 1990's, however. Currently I have work on display in Dos Manos Gallery in Anchorage and at the Fringe in Homer. Much of my training has been self taught—ironically in response to attempting to grasp the techniques found in my favorite books! |
