Cheryl Ploegstra
Cheryl Ploegstra is a multi-media artist working in fiber, paper, clay, beads and found objects. She has been working with polymer clay since 2004, but has incorporated the skills she learned from her career in graphic design, and 20 years of experience with quilting, scrapbooking and page design, to polymer clay.
Cheryl's scrapbook designs have been published in Simple Scrapbooks, Creating Keepsakes, Paper Kuts and Memory Makers magazines, and she sells her polymer beads, beaded polymer eggs and jewelry in Anchorage and Houston. Cheryl has been teaching at Alaska Bead Company since the Summer of 2006.
