Alex Rogers
Alex Rogers is an experimental freelance artist and newcomer to the frigid, but beautiful, state of Alaska. He began working with wire in January of 2011, and has grown immensely fond of weaving and soldering filigree, and the endless possibilities for fusion and freeform that they present. He is excited for the opportunity to share his passion with the community, and the mutual enrichment exchanged between an instructor and their students. His aim is to get students more comfortable sculpting wire with their hands, because he feels you don’t always need fancy tools to express yourself!
